    My job as a coach is to provide a safe space for clients to explore and highlight their own solutions. It is NOT my job to tell you what to do. It is my job to be present with you, actively listen, provide meaningful questions/reflections which could lead to meaningful clarity. Different things work for different people ; and isn’t that wonderful?

My own experience with anxiety and chronic pain began in 2020 at the start of the pandemic. Before that time, I thought I knew what anxiety was. I had no idea just how invasive, all encompassing and violent anxiety could be. I was determined to figure out how to minimize those sensations because I had a job to show up for, I had rent to pay and a plethora of other adult responsibilities. I began a HIIT routine after work and learned as much as I could as quickly as I could about the vagus nerve and how doing different exercises could put my nervous system in a parasympathetic, relaxed state. It took me a few months of exploring and experimenting so I could have a deeper understanding of what works for my body in managing anxiety and pain. I know how chronic pain can feel scary and disabling. The good news is that chronic pain does not have to be forever. There are many tools and techniques people can learn to help them understand how to minimize and manage symptoms.

People who identify as being a highly sensitive person or having sensory processing sensitivity or identify as an empath. I see you. I too, have the trait sensory processing sensitivity AND I am an empath. I work with people with these traits. Coaching services are done by video chat that are 30-45 minutes long.

What to expect in establishing coaching session(s) with Phoebe

1. You have completed the initial consultation. We have both decided that working together will be mutually beneficial.

2. You will be emailed a link to your coaching appointment.

3. The telehealth platform I use is HIPPA compliant which means ALL of your information will stay secure, private and confidential. You will also make your payments through the telehealth platform.

4. Be sure you are in a quiet and private space so you can be the most present you can be for the session. Take a few deep, calming breaths. Click on the link for your appointment, you will be guided to a virtual waiting room and your appointment will begin as scheduled.

COACHING RELATIONSHIP EXPECTATIONS

Phoebe will create a structured and flexible container for the client to explore their goal(s) and discover what may be hindering or blocking them from achieving their goals.

Phoebe will:

Be present and curious and use communication tools such as active listening, reflections and open-ended questions to further the exploration of the current life circumstances and potential solutions. 

Phoebe will help to create a space where curiosity about the human experience is felt and processed and better understood. 

Phoebe and client understand that the client is using this space to explore and gain guidance and clarity on what they want to accomplish and the first step(s) toward their goal(s). 

The client understands that they are responsible for the changes they want to see and experience in their life.
