“I feel so Black and Blue ; at least there’s Coffee”.—Teenager Phoebe

Living in the world can be tense and quizzical, to say the least. In the time I have spent working and always actively learning; I have realized how profoundly impacted we are when we get caught up in the blurry space of confusion.

I began working in the substance use counseling field in 2017. In that time, one major theme I have seen with every person I have worked with is ; the more confused people are about who they are; the more vulnerable they are to being manipulated by fear, the people in their lives, the media and the world. I have seen and experienced how healing it can be to create space to ask questions, to gain clarity with one’s values, intentions, strengths and flaws; to experiment with new experiences—all of these kinds of situations can lead to more self-awareness and compassion and appreciation for this human experience.

A little bit more about me: My spiritual awakening began in 2019. The moment I think I have completed one level of understanding, another elevated level appears before me. At times it is confusing and scary and always exciting and curious. I have a profound love for coffee, fresh air, pugs and flowers.

MY COACHING METHOD

  • Curiosity

Asking questions is how I begin and sustain each working relationship. I know I am not the expert when it comes to you; YOU are the expert when it comes to you.

  • Experiment

You will try new skills and experiences and explore what makes the most sense to you and what will help you to achieve your goal of better understanding your relationship to pain, gaining a more thorough understanding of how you experience the world around you, deepening your relationship to your sexuality or whatever other goal you have for yourself.

  • Evolving

You will continue to learn and grow the more curious you are about your inner experience and the world around you; as time passes, you will potentially experience many shifts in your awareness and expand your understanding of what it means for you to exist as authentically you. You NEED curiosity to help guide you in your self discovery journey. (As trite as that sounds, it happens to be true).
